How to choose a readiness consultant
Pick someone who has taken companies of your size through the same framework. Ask what they do versus what your team does, how they work with your compliance platform, and what happens if the audit finds gaps.
A consultant gets you ready. They cannot sign off the report, so agree early who will audit you.
What does a readiness consultant do?
They assess your gaps, write policies, help you set up controls and prepare you for the audit.
Can my consultant also be my auditor?
For a SOC 2 report, a firm that helped build your controls should not also audit them. Ask about independence before you sign.
How is this list ordered?
By the sort you choose. The default is the number of verified credentials, then alphabetical. Payment never changes the order, and a Featured slot is shown apart from the results and labelled as paid.
